Merge Shapes on Microsoft PowerPoint.
By following these steps, you can effectively manipulate shapes in Microsoft Power Automate to create the desired visual effects.
Insert Shapes:
Start by going to the Insert tab at the top of the Power Automate interface.
Select the Shape option and choose a standard shape, like a square.
To add another shape, select a circle. For a perfect circle, hold down the Shift key while drawing the shape.
Select Shapes:
To merge the shapes, select both the square and the circle. You can do this by dragging a selection box around them or by holding the Control key and clicking on each shape.
Merge Shapes:
With both shapes selected, navigate to the Shape Format tab in the ribbon.
Click on Merge Shapes from the drop-down menu. You will see several options:
Union: This combines the selected shapes into a single object. You can change the color and style as desired.
Combine: This merges the shapes but removes the overlapping area, resulting in a single shape with a slice missing from the middle.
Fragment Shapes:
If you want to divide the shapes into separate pieces, select the two shapes again, go to Shape Format, and choose Fragment. This will create three separate pieces: the square, the circle, and the overlapping section.
Intersect Shapes:
To keep only the area where the two shapes overlap, select both shapes, go to Shape Format, and click on Intersect. This will remove everything except the intersecting area.
Subtract Shapes:
To remove one shape from another, select the two shapes, go to Shape Format, and choose Subtract. For example, if you select the square first and then the circle, the circle will be subtracted from the square. You can also reverse the selection to subtract the square from the circle.
