Setting Up Recurring Meetings in Outlook.

Follow these step-by-step instructions and you can efficiently set up recurring meetings in Microsoft Outlook, saving you time and ensuring you never forget a meeting again.

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook: Start by launching the newer version of Microsoft Outlook. If you're using the classic version, the process is similar but may vary slightly.

  2. Select the Date: Navigate to the calendar and click on the date you want to start your recurring meeting. For example, choose Monday, February 3rd. You can either add a meeting directly into the day or click on "More Options" for additional settings.

  3. Set the Meeting to Recur: In the meeting setup window, look for the option to make the meeting recurring. Click on it to open a new dialog box where you can select the days of the week for the meeting. You can choose multiple days, such as every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, or exclude specific days like Saturday or Sunday.

  4. Define the Recurrence Pattern: Specify how often the meeting should occur. For instance, if you want it to recur every Monday, ensure that option is selected. You can also set an end date for the recurrence, such as February 28th, 2025.

  5. Save and Send Invites: Once you are satisfied with the settings, click "Save." This will send out invites to all participants and add the meeting to their Outlook calendars.
