Send Outlook Tasks to Teams.

This guide will help you efficiently send your Outlook tasks to Microsoft Teams using the Planner app. Follow these steps to streamline your task management.

Step 1: Flag Emails in Outlook

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook (web or desktop).

  2. Locate the emails you want to convert into tasks.

  3. Flag the emails by clicking on the flag icon next to each email. You can customize the due date for each flagged email (e.g., today, tomorrow, next week) as needed.

Step 2: Access Microsoft Teams

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to the calendar view.

  2. Click on the "Apps" icon at the bottom of the Teams interface.

  3. Search for "Planner" and open it. If you want, you can pin it for easy access.

Step 3: View Flagged Emails in Planner

  1. In Planner, you will find a section for tasks associated with flagged emails from Outlook.

  2. This allows you to see all your flagged emails and manage them as tasks.

Step 4: Manage Your Tasks

Step 5: Create New Tasks in Outlook

  1. You can also create new tasks directly in Outlook.

  2. Assign due dates and importance levels to these tasks.

  3. Once created, these tasks will sync with Planner in Microsoft Teams.
