For Desktop Users

1. Access Settings:

   • Click on your avatar in the top right corner of the Facebook homepage.

   • Select Settings & Privacy, then click on Settings.

2. Navigate to Audience and Visibility:

   • On the left sidebar, scroll down to find Audience and Visibility.

   • Click on How People Find and Contact You.

3. Adjust Friends List Visibility:

   • Locate the section titled Who can see your friends list?

   • You will see various options:

     • Public: Anyone can see your friends list.

     • Friends: Only your friends can see your list.

     • Friends Except: Show your friends list to everyone except specific people.

     • Specific Friends: Only selected friends can see your list.

     • Only Me: Only you can see your friends list (most private option).

4. Select Your Preference:

   • Choose the option that suits your privacy needs. If you want maximum privacy, select Only Me.

5. Finalize Your Settings:

For Mobile Users

1. Open the Facebook App:

   • Tap the menu icon located at the bottom right corner of the app.

2. Access Settings:

   • Click on the Cog icon to open Settings & Privacy.

   • Scroll down to Audience and Visibility and select How People Can Find and Contact You.

3. Adjust Friends List Visibility:

   • Tap on Who can see your friends list?

   • Similar options as the desktop version will appear:

     • Public

     • Friends

     • Friends Except

     • Specific Friends

     • Only Me

4. Select Your Preference:

   • Choose the desired visibility option. For the highest privacy, select Only Me.

5. Save Your Settings:

   • After making your selection, click Save to apply the changes.
